It is finally time to share our big news. We are about to start our biggest adventure yet. Picture this...The Lemon Route. Six months. Fifty states. Four phases. One mission: turning lemons into miles.🍋
For the six months, we will travel through all 50 states... Every single one. And here is the twist. When we are on the Lemon Route, we can only stay in something with wheels. That means our van Mr. Lemon, another company’s van or RV, or even a loaner from a friend. As long as it rolls, it counts.
The Plan
The Lemon Route will be split into four phases, each taking us through a different part of the country. We will film everything for YouTube so you can follow along as we see amazing places, meet incredible people, and deal with whatever surprises the road throws our way. This is going to be interesting to say the least...
Why The Lemon Route
Our van has not always been perfect. In fact, it has had more than its share of breakdowns and “learning experiences.” But that is part of the fun. We want to take those lemons and turn them into something unforgettable. The Lemon Route is a way to push ourselves, see more of the country, and prove that travel is about the journey even when the journey does not go as planned.
What To Expect
All 50 states in 6 months...huge challenge. But we only have 6 months to see if this can actually work out financially.
Four big phases of travel. This will give us small pockets of time to spend with our kids. It's the only way Hillary would agree.
